« Demain,» a new collaboration
by Andee and Mike Demero
Andee is back with the brand new single “Demain”, an electro-pop track produced and co-written by the rising star of electronic music Mike Demero. “Demain” is a song about hope that reminds us that negative feelings are temporary and that talks about the uncertainty that we may feel when we are stuck in the darkness. It also tells the story of the important role that a person can play in the life of someone who is in psychological distress and also reminds us that a person can be suffering even though they seem fine from the outside.
Andee and Mike wrote the lyrics and composed the music for this song together. Mike produced the track in its entirety. Kori Kameda recorded some guitar on it. It The mix and master were done by Mixed By Gee (Ghislain Brind’Amour). Artifice is in charge of radio tracking. A dynamic and captivating music video directed by Émile Légaré-Turcote and Vincent Brisson accompanies the project.

ONE PLUS ONE EQUALS US – 2021
Andee has returned with a fresh approach to her sound after overcoming a dark period in her life. She talks about her journey with bipolar disorder and its challenges in the book “Mes tempêtes intérieures” by Vanessa Beaulieu released in 2018. Her personal and artistic journey led her in new sonic directions for newest LP One Plus One Equals Us with the help of producers Hill Kourkoutis, Emery Taylor, Herag Sanbalian, Warne Livesey and her husband Kori Kameda who produced her song “The Sea”. One Plus One Equals Us also brought us a very special collaboration with Toronto singer-songwriter and rapper Stacey Kay on the explosive track “Your Last Kiss”.
“These new songs are definitely about personal experiences that affected me like nothing I had been through before,” Andee says. Ultimately, I wanted to expose a very vulnerable side of myself to talk about hopelessness, mental despair, growth, euphoria, resilience and, of course, love.” One Plus One Equals Us was released on March 26th 2021 under Coalition Music Records.
Amongst the biggest influences of the bilingual French-Canadian powerhouse singer are Tina Turner, Florence and The Machine and Alicia Keys that she admires for their intensity and their distinctive vocal qualities.
